please ... please figure out why the server is not running properly. It is currently not responding.
This is a persistent issue and is causing a little bit of negative attention amongst the clan.

We have decided to no longer try to keep this machine running. It is less than a year old, but we are not able to identify why it keeps going down. We will be moving all to a new machine today. The new machine will keep the same IPs and ports.
This will take a few hours, but I expect that all files and games will be copied.
We estimate it takes about 6-8 hours to simply transfer files, so this will take much of the day and night (Thursday).

we are working on it, they are aware of our discontent.

The East Coast machine (Virginia data center) running your server is once again down. We are giving up on this machine. It is less than a year old, but just not reliable. A new machine is in place and we will transfer everything over to the new machine tonight. You will keep the same IP and port.
We plan to finish by late tonight, Thursday.

Error
Connected to server but unable to authenticate your login name and password. Make sure you entered the correct global server password or the password for your unique login name. You will be automatically banned if you try connecting with the wrong password several more times, so be sure you have the correct password before you try again. Passwords are case sensitive and must be completely retyped if you are making a change to it. The password will always be displayed as 8 (*'s or dots) even if the actual length of the password is shorter or longer then 8. You should also verify that you entered the correct IP address (or hostname) and Port number. If the port number is wrong you are connecting to the wrong server.
I don't get it. I haven't changed anything since we talked the other day. |

Yeah, I was on it the other night with Tex w/no problem. Then yesterday and today, it keeps giving me errors. I have no clue what the problem is.
Even tried making up a new name and logging in... no go. I think my IP might be banned or something. |

The issue has been addressed...
There have been some changes to permissions.
I Appreciate someone clearing out the old and unused player names... but perhaps they were a tad overzealous.
I'm really not sure who Sulloria is... or why they had admin on our server... but that has been addressed also.
If anyone has any Questions about the changes, Please feel free to write them down on a 5x7 card listing the sender, the grievance, the date of the grievance and any witnesses thereto. Place the 5x7 card in a plain brown envelope with a self addressed stamped envelope. On the brown envelope PRINT your name in black marker and address it to me. Place the brown envelope in a wastebasket, saving yourself postage and myself the time to disregard your request.
Just kidding

The long and short of it is, They deleted a slew of Users and then made the server Private... no Guest Logon.
yeah, that's kind of a problem.
So if you did something in the server as a server admin and might have made a mistake, 'fess up and I slap your hand.
If I have to email Bryan for the server activity logs, I slap the pee-pee. _________________

Well I don't think I have admin rights and if I did I wouldn't have a clue what to do
with them anyway so I don't think it was me.
But if spankings are being handed out on second thought maybe I did
I'm heading to Denver to see my kids, you all have a great day.
